Coral Box D300/500/700 skimmers

Same...not sure how to set this d300 as it’s my first skimmer on a new tank. Think I have it at 50%

I have the D300+ and constantly fiddling with it to get it right. So far, it seems to be pulling light yellowish liquid skin. Any thoughts from folks here who used it?

Is the goal to have the bubbles come up to the top of the cylinder?

So far at half open and speed 6 my d300 plus is have bubbles come to the top of chamber and pop. The tuning dial has an optimal water level mark which aligns with my sump line. I’ll leave it at that to see what it picks up. So far I just see spit like in cup.
