Where abouts would I put it in my sump... it's a trickle styleYou might consider running a PolyFilter for a little while. I had my wood floors redone in my house a couple of months ago and had a couple of corals freak out. The PolyFilter cleaned out whatever got in there. Just keep an eye on your skimmer as it freaks them out.

Sniff him first. You'll know if he has an infection. If he smell like ocean you fine.Well now I'm in a pickle lol...maybe I will dip him in coral rx or lugol's in case of infection

IMO jelly diseases come From to low a flow and or nurireunts or both. A sign of declining health. Flow keeps them clean.
IMO if he smells do a real light lugols dip in tank water and gently dust him off once he's back in. Probably pout for a while.
I run high dissolved organics in my tanks. its a tricky balance. If the nutrient tests get high run the floss. It's actually like a gfo. I run a refugium for this reason.
So my alk is 5.5 I was reading test wrong, could that be the culprit??
How??Having Alk that low is not good. Your def going to want to get that back up.
I have never had to raise it, what do I use? I have seachem fusion 2 part which I was using and will start up again, it's to restore and maintain ca and alkRaise the Alk about 1 per day until you hit the 8.3-8.4 mark, then figure out what you are using per day and dose that.
