Not sure if there is a rule about calling out a Sponsor on here so I will leave the name out for now. I ordered a few corals and all came in looking good except the hammer, I went through the acclimation anyway and it still looks very unhealthy. At delivering when I noticed this I took pictures and sent them an email as per there policy states it has to be sent within 4hrs of delivery. Then followed up with a pic after 24hrs and 48hrs in the tank. I haven’t gotten a response from any of my 3 emails. Below are the pics, any recommendations?

If you payed by CC, you have an option of opening the dispute through CC company. It usually scares the merchant in my experience and they reimburse you.

Don't see why you would hesitate to mention the vendor,5.5 days with no reply mentioning is the least you can do.

If his goal was feedback and advice(I believe it was) it is best not to mention the vendor as it makes it very likely all comments are removed other than his and it gets moved to the vendor feedback threads to die.

If there are members here who've had the same/similar experience with the vendor and chimed in would that not be "feedback?"

allow to warm up as I see a couple of visible polyps. If retracted may re-emerge

Sometimes emails get stuck in junk folders for whatever reason. Have you tried calling them?

I don't think it's beyond hope! I had one come back from that state. Takes a few months.

Having said that, the coral was definitely already in bad shape prior to sending to you. It's not just retracted. There's clear tissue recession. You should expect a full refund.

Only the OP is allowed to give feedback on vendor. If someone else wants to they have to do their own thread. I don't make the rules, but those are the rules. They often let it slide in some threads, but if it becomes about the vendor and multiple people chiming in about it all the posts but the OP(and vendor if they reply) get removed and the thread gets moved to feedback forum.

That is a very small frag of hammer coral. Usually they give you more of a base. This looks like a cut top. Hope you did not pay too much.

Thanks Waterworld. Personally I think if a vender gives bad service to any customers, they should be put on blast for it. Especially considering the ammount of scammers everywhere these days. I find it comforting to know I am dealing with a vender who will really stand behind their products, because they provided that type of good service to others. Those reputations are worth spreading!

I recently ordered a very expensive Acanthophyllia from that same vendor. It arrived in poor condition and I got the same response you did. Personally, I’ll never order from them again. As of now, I have a mostly dead coral in my frag tank, and no word from the vendor.
