Coral prices?

Did you notice this retailer is in AUSTRALIA?????? They have some of the nicest acans and chalices out there! And they are also hours....not days....away from some of the best places for coral collection in the world. $30 + import fees and shipping + retail markup = $90-150 depending on where you are in the world.

Plus throw in the supply and demand effect and the toughness of getting nice corals like that (like Jon Warner said), and you might even be paying more!!!!

Why does a Royal Gramma cost $8 in Florida and $35 in Minnesota and New York. They come from FL but cost more up north because of shipping.

Friends ask me if corals are worth the price while were store hopping, my reply to them..... "If you think its worth it, than yes. My wife likes pink corals so she will pay $80 for one stalk of Xenia, because its worth it to her."

these are the norm prices for outside the u.s. frag market

trying to find the bookmark I had but there are 100's of sites outside the u.s. that "mislead" me about the u.s. prices lol
I was just on a Canadian site they were complaining about 1 of the 3 sites I am talking about saying "they need to get off the crack pipe"

if your bored just look threw this site anyone with a cites permit can ship to the u.s. without a problem
