Coral Stolen from Local Fish Store

that really sucks that some scum had to steal it. Chances are if he's not on camera it will be hard to prove because ive been seeing a ton of the same looking chalice colonies for sale lately.hope they catch the guy and his tank crashes

Even if the do find some frags of it it will be hard to prove that person stole it its not like it has a SC number ...... and my lfs have a coral just like that one and I'm sure their is a couple more just like it out their somewhere but good luck

Yeah, my LFS gets ones in the look very similar pretty frequently. If whoever stole it chops it, I say there's no way to tell. If they try to sell the whole piece, then you could probably tell.

I wouldn't really think of this as a stealing type hobby but there is always someone. I had some equipment stolen from me that I lent to fellow hobbyist. I don't lend stuff anymore. It's sad.

This is pretty sad...

Cameras are cheap and easy to operate. The LFS should look into getting them.

I saw on the news here (Chicago area) that a baby sugar glider was stolen from a store near me and the store was saying it was still nursing and would not survie with out its mother....

crazy.....and people ask why I have a security system on my house and garage? Smile your on candid camera.............
