That would be fun
Here's a mithrax i raised from the size of a spider and is now well over 2"

One week later the (coral?) is still here.
The ends of the tentacles look more bubble tipped I think. It's still around the same size, about 1/3rd of an inch when stretched perhaps.

Does the growth rate tell us anything?

I would say from that last pic, it is definitely not aiptasia. The tentacles aren't right. Perhaps a majano anemone, also a pest. Check out some pics of them online and compare for your thoughts.

I will say that a lot of the photos look like mine. But most of those seem to be from threads on forums asking "is this majano?".

One thing I'm finding out is how thin the line is between anemones and soft corals...

Yea. Looking mojano ish. I've not seen them with the long stalk though.
Thats what the lil guys look like when they are happy and about to split. Id say youll have 2 soon if ya dont get rid o the lil guy. They also arent nearly as annoying as aptasia so can always leave it in there til it touches a coral then kill it with some vinegar in an insulin needle.

Glad mine are unhappy.

That would be neat to see.
Also I suppose it says something about my new tank that it's happy : )

They dont tend to aggravate coral as much as aptasia either. They can cover your tank if they get good and happy in no time however... lol
