Coralline algae?

It cost the same as Calcion or Kent Calcium. And it does produce a white out when you add it to your tank, its like putting milk of magnesia in your tank, a calcium powder per say. And it won't produce anything unless you have Dissolved Calium to bring up, if not it does nothing.

It does not produce a white out if used properly, either pre mix it and skim the skim off the top and add to an ATO, or use a slow drip method of concentrated Kalk. I've used it for years and have never seen it affect water clarity at all. Plus its not a daily maintenance issue when done right. My understanding of those products is you dose them daily, NO?

No, you don't dose them daily. You test, and dose as needed. It all would depend on what you have in the tank that would eat it fast.

sorry, just read up on it, seems like alot less accurate, and more PITA method than kalk in a ATO or doser pump method IMO, requiring alot more testing and monitoring. But, I've never used it, just kalk, which is brain numbingly easy and hard to mess up params
