I thought so, but without 'seasoning' rock, I did get growth within 6 weeks with it. Didn't have any cuc with it and imported live rock from LFS didn't have it either. I'll back the ARC reef folks, it's legit.Not to judge, but isn't this stuff kind of like snake oil?
That’s a signal for death. The algae is releasing the zooxanthelle. It can recover if put back in the water or you fix whatever parameter is killing it. But the hot pink is signs that it’s on its way out. Kinda cool but not desirable if you want it to stick around.
No. It has nothing to do with lighting. It’ll happen when lights are off too. It’s expelling it’s pigment because it’s dying.It only happens to snails that go outside of the water. I suspect the coralline gets burned by the lights and then regrows after. Still looks cool though. I don't really care if the coralline on snails gets zapped lol.
