Critique my scape

Looks good, are you going for sps? And I’d move that rubble pile on the right a little bit back so you can clean the glass easier
Eventually down the road I will be, but this is my first time at saltwater. I’ve been doing freshwater since I was a kid and I finally got the money to do it. So I’m just trying to soak up as much information as possible before I start putting corals in.

I like the height, looks a bit triangular but not too bad. I think once the rocks blend it will look way better to the eye. It's a bit hard to judge because of the new and old rock together make it hard to view as one complete structure.
The one thing I liked that came out of it was making another hole/hiding spot. That rock is just very weirdly shaped, so when I picture my corals on there, I’d want the top point to be exposed but have sps growing around the lower half of it. Just hope it all works out.

Fair enough, your scape is all good apart from that rubble pile imo, sps tends to grow quite tall that’s why I was asking

If you are happy with what you have leave it be for few days and dont look at it. After few days passed by come back and take a look again. Odds are there will be something you dont like. Getting your scape right can take a week or longer and many rocks moved, broken, rotated, added and removed.

Also, while you may like arches, they are quite unnatural and dont do much coral placement and fish wise. If you look at reefs in the ocean, you wont find arches, but rocks on top of rocks, caves, crevices, lots of hiding spots and so on. I didnt notice this until someone specifically called it out when I did my 1st scape several weeks ago. For some strange reason most of the people that are making their 1st scape end up with arches somehow, and I sure was guilty of that haha
