CR's 40B

Not the ones that enter the sump the ones that drain out the bottom of the clear rear box of the overflow. All my hard piping is glued already so I might not be able to flip those seals without destroying the bulkheads. but buying new bulkheads is still cheaper than a whole new overflow

Of course it would be cheaper did you union the over flow like shown, thats the back of my tank

did either of you guys have any problems with the bottom bulkheads coming out of the rear box?
I got the Large box and I can't get the bulkheads out of the rear box to stop leaking... I have tried multiple degrees of tightness, un screwing and re tightening the nuts. ive got it down to a small drip but that's still not good enough! I really don't want to slap a bunch of silicone all over everything to seal it up. And the biggest problem is my plumbing is all glued directly into the bulkheads already. Might have to call eshopps and see if I can get new ones at this point so I can saw off the original ones

Where do you have the gaskets? They need to be on the flange side of the bulkhead, in this case on the inside. If you put them on the outside water can seep around the threads and cause a small leak.

Following. Currently researching builds for my 40B as my first marine. Look forward to seeing your progress!
