Anyone have any experience with current USA led lighting looking to move my radion xr30 off my IM 30ga fusion and need a replacement.

I have it (USA Current Orbit LED) and it only good for Fish only tank, if you have coral or anemone you will have to buy a PRO version but still has weak PAR for the most part.

I have the current IC Loop lights on my 75 gallon fowlr tank. I really like them. My other tank has Radions with Vortech pumps. For a fraction of the cost I've got the IC's that work with their wave pumps on the same controller.
I have two of the 32 inch light bars on a 4ft tank. I still like a lot of light though.
For the money you can't beat it. I like their storm effects better than ecotex. Of course I know that's just for my enjoyment not the fish or corals.

I put 2 pro 72" over my 120. After a couple months my coralline alge started bleaching badly. Switch it radion's and all is fine now.

More than one option would probably work.

What are the dimensions of that tank?
Do you have a controller like Reefkeeper or Apex that you'd want to use?
Or do you want it to have its own controller?

These docs might be interesting:
What type of coral can the Orbit IC support?
How much light does the Orbit IC produce and what wavelength?
How much PAR and what wavelength do the TrueLumen PRO LED strips produce?
How much PAR and what wavelength does the Orbit Marine LED produce?
Orbit Marine Pro PAR Data

On a 30 gallon you might need 2, depending on what your growing. I put one on a 13.5 fluval and its growing montipora, birdsnest, 2 BTA, mushrooms, acans, and a chalice. It's been running since April with significant growth. I'm impressed for what it is but this tank is smaller of course. It's not the pro model, just blue and whites.

36x11x13 no controller was gonna use theirs.

A regular Orbit Marine would work on a shallow tank like that....but the IC probably has a little better color. The Pro could still make sense if you wanted to suspend the light off the tank.

You think it would grow corals. I have hammers, softies, and some SPS

In a shallow tank, they work fine for LPS and softies. I have the 18" IC on my 10 gallon and everything in my tank grows like weeds.

My bubble tip has split 6 times since the first pic.

Sweet! Looks good. Are you using their power heads too?

Thanks
Yes, I have 2 of their power heads and their return pump.
I would get two light strips if starting from scratch, but I think my tank proves you can do it with one.

What 10 gal tank you have? What return pump is it. I thought they only had larger return pumps

The tank is a regular Aqueon 10 - 20x12x10
The pump is the 1900 gph model. I bought it for a larger build I'm doing, but finances put that one on hold. I couldn't stand not using it, so I put it on my 10. It's controllable, so I have it turned down to around 50% and I used 1/2" return plumbing to create as much head loss as possible. The pump is awesome. You cannot hear it at all. I had to check the return to make sure it was running.

My 55gal tank.. I'm using 48" Orbit Marine and Aquatic Life Reef Edge..

Our point here is that if you run only Orbit marine light only then sure you will have issues, you are having a support lighting system from Aquatic Life Reef Edge.
Yes, Orbit Marine might work for some folks if they have shallow tank within certain water deep and certain low light corals.TBH standard old school T5 still beat the Orbit Marine in PAR without the fancy controller that Orbit offering.

I didn't think this was a debate for T5 either? I think the pics have proved that the orbit will work on a smaller shallow tank just fine and that was the OP original question. Ofcourse T5 will grow anything and always will. Also, your statement of the orbit being good only for a fish only tank has been proven wrong. Nice tank zeeGGee

I've been using Orbit Marine for 16months..my tank is 20 months old. I only use the Aquatic life reef edge blue/white channel for 3 hrs and the other channel with red for 1 hour. Didnt see any difference aside from from aesthetically looks better...
