I understand your frustration oceanwave. Try to decifer opinion versus experience. Many people have opinions but many people give an opinion based on real world experience with there years of being in the hobby. If we solely relied on others opinions then whoa! Lol. I try to give information on things I've actually done, used or seen. I try to help fellow reefers the best I can current facts or my own personal experience. Hang in there, this hobby is amazing and you can take your time.

You are awesome you have helped me several times - thx you! But on the same time equipment is expensive and have a short window to return - it ticks me off when you think you've done good when in fact you did bad, money is time and time is money!

@Oceanwave45 I would relax....the light you have is fine on its own merit, and you have proof in the tank in front of you.

If you don't trust your own eyeballs more than you trust the internet, this hobby is going to be nothing but trouble.

Even we have to trust your eyeballs in order to give you good advice, so that's a big problem. Trust your eyeballs! :)

But if you still want to do a return, did you contact your retailer yet? That's the first place to turn.

I still new to the hobby going on 2 years. But I can say it's good to talk to people and read forums but at the end of the day pay attention to your tanks and it's inhabitants. I've fought with high phos and nitrate and getting them down but my corals seems to thrive with my husbandry. I have lost corals from time to time while other corals have grown out. So I question myself a lot but at the end of the day I must be doing something right.
Not sure what the name of this coral is but it's a less that 2 year diff!

I have had two Orbit Marine IC LED's on my 120 since Feb and they are fantastic! The tank looks different now, more corals and good growth-this is an early pic- and all of my LPS, Zoas, Ritteri nem, bubble corals, monti's are doing very well.
