The sump is awesome and is from Synergy Reef! After seeing their thread "Synergy Reef Systems Custom Sumps" here on R2R, I had to have one.

Some picks of the build which is mostly complete, minus the ceilingtie-in, closed loop plumbing and some additional aquascaping.

This turned out a lot better than I ever expected! Now I can sit on my couch and enjoy :couch2:

Thanks Aleks! I am using two 400 watt medal halide fixtures and four 54 watt T5 lighting (42"). The return pump is an Iwaki mag drive pump (model no. WMD-40RLXT-115) and the closed loop is running a Pondmaster Mag Drive 18. I will eventually will add two VorTech MP60s.

What is the purpose of that pipe that runs to the ceiling???

That is my closed loop as the piping runs straight up from the Mag 18 and then elbows into the canopy to the opposite side of the tank to provide some opposing flow.
