Cutting and attaching molding to stand

Depends on thegap that I have between the tank and top of the moulding

Steve, I said crown because of this profile:

Is definitely crown molding.

When cut at the angles I gave you, you should end up with something like this (this is the back side of the molding. Note how it's angled out




But guess what........That flat mount looks just fine.

Its actually flat on top or bottom. However you look at it
