Cyano or Dino’s?

Only problem is, I dont have that kind of time.

First off you do have time to order a digital microscope from eBay Amazon etc and have it delivered and depend 5 minutes taking a pic and uploading it and if you really dont have the time you should just get rid of the tank as they are nothing but a time investment and without time you will never succeed in this hobbie not trying to be rude but if time is a factor you are in the wrong hobbie and it did not just pop up overnight as it takes time to come on and time to fix it

All you need to do is vacume it out everyday untill you fix the root cause as it will always come back if what is causing it is not fixed the rest is a bandaid

Why would I lie about it popping up overnight? I have no reason to lie about that if im trying to help my tank

I think part of what he's trying to say is Dino's isn't because of 1 thing you did. It's a process that dwindles into you finally getting Dinos.

I think the OP is talking about this, not actual time needed to order. I get the urgency once I looked at pics a second time.

Thank you for understanding. I would never do that to my tank. I was talking about the time it would take to get delivered

I went ahead for now and turned off the lights, completely cleaned the tank and siphoned the sand bed and blew off the dinos that was on the zoas and other corals not letting them open. Zoas seemed to appreciate that and they are now starting to open up. I ordered a frag rack for my zoas so they wont be on the sand bed, it was shipped today, it should hopefully be here tomorrow.

Cutting your lighting schedule with good husbandry and cleaning it every other day or so should be enough IME.

If not you can take bigger measure's then. I'd say give it 1 to 1 1/2 weeks if it's still a problem then look for a more serious solution like an additive or UV or, or, or, or

I already a UV filter, so it wouldnt hurt to just go ahead and put that on

This was not saying your lying at all but it takes alittle while before you see actual signs of somthing wrong

Just wanted to give a little update so far. After I attached the UV filter and let it run overnight and cleaned the tank as well as the water change I did yesterday and put in some amino acids and other vitamins in the tank, I checked this morning on the tank and everything looks a lot better. There are no dinos on my sand bed and my zoas are open and happy. Only zoas that are still looking angry are the blue rhinos. I also just realized another thing that couldve been negatively effecting my tank. I had a scoly and a chalice that were dying in my tank and that may have been trying to nuke my tank, so I took them out of the tank so they couldnt harm anything else.

The only thing that was in my tank this morning that was just annoying was film algae on my glass. Nothing bad, just unsightly.
