We've had our share of hurricanes and tropical storms but I haven't had water anywhere near this close to my door before.
During Ike in 2008 our issue was power loss. No power for 17 days.

That water is too close for comfort, too much for a wet vac. Pray that's as high as it gets. Be safe and good luck to all in the area

The water has completely receded, and while still raining a bit.
Ready for the next round.
Current models ain't looking good so this is not over. Another 15-20" on the way.
