I was looking through my photobucket and came across some pics of few corals that I truly loved, but lost the em for some reason or another. I would love to see any corals that you really liked and lost. Let me start by posting a couple of mine.

I haven't loss too many corals over the years but these two are probably on top of the list...

Chris,

Whats the monti in the 2nd pic? I have a small frag of it growing out. I was glad it survived my tank crash.

Hey Chris- I have that monti for you when you want some back-my colors aren't popping like you had it but I am sure you could get it to where it was-

And this was my first real SPS loss. I had grown this out from a frag :( I just have one tiny frag left

Here is another attempt of me trying to grow it out

Fellas - I would have to toss those pics, how depressing. Those are huge losses!

I think Mark all those in the bucket are glued on the back wall as your recent FTS looks packed lol..

I know, I can actually see new growth every couple of days :( A lot of those corals, I just chopped off the bases or just kept a frag. That whole episode taught me how silly I am sometimes about this hobby

OH GEEZ.......where do I begin? Sad thing is, I've been in the hobby for 4-5 years, and ALL of these losses have come in the last year. Its so frustrating.....

lost this guy about a week ago.....had him for 2 years. :(

these got taken over by dictoya algae and faded away....i think these were my favorite palys.

while this wasn't mine, my LFS lost this granulosa when they moved their show tank to a new store. quite possibly the most awesome acro i have ever seen, the camera did not catch the glow and florescence that came off this coral.

ORA Purple Pillow.......first off, the colony I got my frag from was lost when its tank changed locations.

and now my PP colony is all gone, and I only have a few frags left that are barely hanging on. On top of that, I've given out about a dozen frags of ORA PP over the last 2 years or so, and everyone except 2 people have had their frags die after about 6-8 months.

 WOW what a depressing thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Came home from vacation to find this flipped over. Wasn't glued well enough I guess.

On the bright side I will get one back from a friend some day:bigsmile:

this is probably the 2nd coolest granulosa I've ever seen. It last about 8 months before it started to fade away......never seen anything like it before.
