Tank is still up and doing great. Finally got a skimmer running and got more fish. So on top of my sailfin tang that hubby won't let me get rid of, 2 clowns, trio of lyretail anthias, and a damsel I got the following fish. Helfrichi firefish, 4 assorted wrasses of which 2 are getting brave enough to leave hidding and have 5 vanderbuilt chromis on the way. To many fish I know :/

Ya...would be a nice stock list for a 180 or even 240.

Looks like only the living space has gotten the "downgrade" from the title?

It would be good to be making plans now to address this (even though the tank is still brand new) as it doesn't add up to healthy fish in the future.

Well my firefish died but everything else is goodish for the most part lol.

Mysteriously my clam died over night. I did a trade though and got a pectina frag. It's going to be amazing when it gets bigger.

I've been bad and have way to many fish. I officially have:
3 lyrtail anthias
2 clowns
1 green coris wrasse
1 fairy wrasse
1 chissel tooth wrasse
1 3 stripe damsel
1 melanarus wrasse
1 6 line wrasse
1 sailfin tang

So far only problem I have is keeping alk and calc up cause I added more corals and they are growing like crazy.

Yes it is only 80 gallons. The pic makes it looks bigger I guess lol.

What do you guys think my chances would be in adding a yellow coris wrasse and a black cap basslet? I have a friend on hard times and they need to take down tank till things get going straight again. Might this be pushing things to far? The balance right now is great between fish no fighting at all.

On another note. Having problems with a few corals. One chalice and my trumpet corals are receding for unknown reasons and its driving me nuts. My sps are doing great...go figure. I do know my alk, mag and sometimes calc swings are crazy. Still trying to dial them in.

Alk swings will be the cause of your troubles....and will get progressively worse as your corals grow. If you aren't testing and dosing daily, you need to be now. (This is also one reason for the recommendation to go slow...so you have a chance to get used to how to dose without stressing your corals and risking too much.)

I would take a severe hiatus in stocking the tank. :thumb:

I got more corals.

An open brain I thought was not much bigger than my original. Original on right new on left.

Then it settled in and was I in for a suprise.

I also got a soul lol

I got more frags and an orange hammer thing as well but the frags need to grow out more and the torch I just need a pic of it lol.
