Thats going from 1600 to 2400gph. For a 90gal at 10x flow rate the 6000 should have been plenty. Im also going to manifold the return for my reactors so this concerns me on my pump choice as well.

Plumbed in a frag tank also so needed a little more.Question.. why did you need to upgrade from the 6000 to the 9000 pump.
Just asking because i am getting ready to built the same 90gal tank. Did you loose the head pressure on the pump because you used a larger 1.25 pipe in place of a 1" or a 3/4"?
Plus my reactors and I left room to add an alge scrubber in the near futureThats going from 1600 to 2400gph. For a 90gal at 10x flow rate the 6000 should have been plenty. Im also going to manifold the return for my reactors so this concerns me on my pump choice as well.
