That stinks. BRS can do better than that. There was a R2R member that purchased a G4 XR30 Pro with Diffuser for $672. They didn't have anymore in stock so they gave him a G5 XR30 instead. I would tell BRS to refund you and then charge you when they're ready to ship. Keeping your order in line with others. They should be paying you interest and $20 doesn't cover it.
Every time I’ve dealt with or had issues with things ordered from BRS they’ve made things right. I can’t say that this time. Everything from saying I’ll be called back, never getting a call back, having to call back 3 times, never getting an actual answer, not even a delivery date. It sucks. If anyone else had them I’d of made them refund and bought elsewhere.

I could understand having to wait a week or so but that long is nuts. Best of luck. Hopefully in the end they'll take care of you.
 
Sounds like they made a big shipping error, and because of the high demand for these lights, they don't really have an immediate solution. I wouldn't take them not getting back to you as them trying to avoid you, I think they're waiting on an answer from someone so they can give you good news.

The worst part is they sent me an email on February 15th saying they shipped the lights. Talk about being let down when they never showed lol.
 
Did you have to pay the shipping to return to ecotech? I wonder if BRS would cover return shipping.

No. You have to give them a credit card and they will send you a new one then you can send back the old or they will charge the card. But it's been over a week and they haven't shipped out a new one yet. You also can pay to ship them your broken one and they will ship you a new or maybe fix the old.

That is a big delay on Ecotech's part. Usually the $1 charge is the green light to ship the same or next day. They most likely are backed up with order fulfillments to their distributors. One would think they would have prepared a back up stock for replacements. Seems like they've jumped the gun on the G5 release and getting out as many units as possible is their goal. Then repair/replacement units come second. Most likely due to Ecotech selling them faster than they can produce them.
 
It all boils down to speculation. You can use past matrix to project sales, and tool up for that. But it seems like the initial sales were more than speculated. Onve the hype settles they will have a steady stream of lights going out...
It coulld also be that Ecotech is having a hard time getting components from China right now.
