Th other day a package came during my husbands lunch break and I get a text that said "WHAT DID YOU ORDER FOR THE FISH NOW?!?!?!?"
My response was "um that is (name)'s birthday present. WOW! you can apologize now"
That's the only time it wasn't for the fish, but it felt good to put him in his place, at least just once . HAHAHAHAHA

Somehow I think this may be what is actually going on here:

Wife doesn’t know how much reefing stuff costs but she knows is expensive.. I always take about 60% off and we have different schedules so I always get home before her but I still get the disapproving eye roll from her when she notices something new for tank.

I had two huge boxes delivered from Chewy. Each one with a 5 gallon bucket of IO reef crystals. My husband saw the boxes on the porch and was instantly triggered. I told him what it was and explained why it was ok.. "this is something we HAVE to have. Not a just something I want." HAHA, plus I explained how it was a better deal to do it that way.."Think of the money we are saving". He agreed but I know that excuse will only work so many times. The following week he got a pair of Jordans he has always wanted... So I think I've got some bonus points to cash in.

I started this journey with a 13.5 fluval evo and now I’m up to 3 tanks… a 85 gal, the evo and a reefer 170 for frags quarantine only, safe to say though I don’t think I’ll get more tanks than this.. at least for now.

Oh boy, all this he ordered / she ordered makes me glad I'm not married anymore. The only one that gets my money nowadays is my college bound daughter. She has a copy of my Discover Card, and I get to Discover all the new places she uses it.

I started this journey with a 13.5 fluval evo and now I’m up to 3 tanks… a 85 gal, the evo and a reefer 170 for frags quarantine only, safe to say though I don’t think I’ll get more tanks than this.. at least for now.

He will just randomly ask me which room I’m going to put a tank in next. Lol we have a 32 biocube, 13.5 evo (evo high five) and 10 gallon hospital tank always running. He about lost his mind when I told him I was trying to win the JBJ tank giveaway on here.

I always wanted to have a biocube just because they’re so compact and don’t take up much space, I think if I was to do that this marriage would be in serious jeopardy but I always remind her how much she enjoys looking at the tanks.
