Spoke to Emark, no dendronephthya colonies this Friday, from Tonga. We'll see next Friday. Asked if they can send 9-scleronephthya and 9-dendronephthya colonies. BrIan will ask. I hope it happens

So, my hypothesis is right, one major key to success with any NPS softies is helping them stay open, they stay open, they feed, they feed, they should thrive. I've figured out how to keep them open. Still in test mode, but promising.

Most important, must start with healthy specimens
1. Water same as for SPS corals, I would prefer soft coral water perimeters
2. Strong circulation of gyre pumps or equivalent
3. Variety of flour like foods, with raw egg. Coral mucus simulation
4. The key to success is for them staying open

When summer over in my area. Will try to raise a dendronephthya colony in small DT 5 gallons? Maybe smaller? With minimal equipment, more WC.
