Here she is. In the tank next to Dendra.

Big Bertha, that is...Hahaha

Nope. She was a complete rescue. I talked them down on the price because she looked miserable in their tank, just tossed in a divider tank like something they didn't know what to do with.

Looks like she’s already starting to open up a bit.

She was really bad. Not sure if you can see it in that first picture but she had like a flat dead spot on her side from just laying on her side on the bottom of the tank for god only knows how long. She's drooping down and the flattened pale side is facing up in that pic.

Wait and see game now.

I mounted it on the side of a rock so it has a choice if it wants to go up or hang down. We'll see which it chooses.
One things for sure, if they like their new home they will show it. But, with time.

Guys there's an article on dendronepthya in this month's edition of coral magazine

Thank you! !!!

The last frontier for corals. Maybe more reef keepers will join us. It is a challenge. There's one other person on East Coast, that can frag these, they're selling on ebay. That's how I found out. Hopefully more will come

My wife likes Portia which is also pronounced "Por'Sha" so we'll go with that. So it's Dendra and Portia.

Portia is still doing the same. Open but saggy.

I spent the day setting up an EVO 13.5 saltwater for my wife. I gave her a lot of my rock so future tank pics will look more barren.

Good choice, I'm single so those where the names , came to mind....Hahaha

In Spanish, Romanian,Portuguese, one would pronounce, "Por'tia", "tia" alone is aunt some or all Latin base languages. Could be wrong. Nice choice.

Depending how much damage on Portia and starvation, may recover some, bring back healthy, I've never been able to do. Try your best

She’s looking a little better. She even has a little branch poking out the side now.

Also, the pics of her look blurry because I have a moderate amount of flow toward her. She looks real weak and malnourished. I think she's having problems opening up to feed. Maybe just too week for now. Heavy feeding and bringing the food to her.

@Slingshot357 , send us a video of Dendra and Portia, at least 3 minutes. I need to see your flow in the tank. And tell us what stream pumps using, are they at 50% or 80% flow, what type, where you locate in tank, if any type of settings on controller, if that type of system . That info really good for all of us , if we have or plan your type of tank.
