Been slowly switching my salt over. I originally started with instant ocean bc I wanted to keep my calcium around 410 and my alk around 8. But turns out that this salt has been giving me numbers all over the place. Just the other day I tested a fresh batch and got a reading of calcium 350 and alk at 7.3 and that's at 1.026. Decided to go back to what I ran my 50 gallon and that's reef crystals.

Perfect! The only reason I haven't posted a pic of her is because I can't get a photo. I can watch her throughout the tank swimming and eating like a pig. But the moment I take my phone out, she's hiding.

SC Aquarium 150 gallon. 60"x 24"x 24"

Due to the wrasse being in the tank, the last thing I want to do is risk it. So I went ahead and made a cover. Forgot to post it the day I made it but it turned out pretty well.

How is your Tamarind Wrasse doing? Is it eating prepared foods? From what I've read Tamarinds are hard to get settled in and they're a difficult species to keep healthy.

I have read the same in the past but I decided to try it out anyways. It does like to pick on my snails here and there but it's already eating frozen food. The transition went really smooth which I'm super happy about but I guess time will tell.
