Try to match your tank levels to the levels of your salt mix. Of course choose a salt that has the Ca and Alk levels you want. I use reef crystals. Take measurements everyday at around the same time. Use the reef calculator at the link below to determine how much to dose to bring your levels to where you want them. I hand dosed every day for a month until I was certain that I knew my tanks consumption on a daily basis. Then I hooked up my doser (Jebao sp?)and let it go from there and went back to my usual weekly test schedule.

Lol..Thanks. I am just a reefer chosen by Aquaforest to help out others. I don't work for them but I generally try to help people who have issues with the method. I try my best to help any reefer as far my knowledge goes.

Do you think I should do a water change tomorrow? I have not done one since I not done one since 3- 19
Oops .....I think the Alk dipped too much. Ok, lets play this game in another way. Change 10% water tomorrow and also prepare a liter of Alk and Ca like earlier. Then after water change read all 3. After that hook up Alk and Ca to your doser and dose 100 ml Alk and 50ml Ca for a day. Try to spread the dose all through the day and dose them at least 15 minute from each other. Read again after 12 and 24 hour.
For now dose 100 ml Alk and 50 ml Ca with 30 min difference. Also try to lower down your light intensity.
