Don't ask how, but I just dosed 100ml of all for reef into my red sea max nano (20 gallon)....

Let it ride or what to do????

5 ml daily - been having issues with doser - was re-calbibrating and the 100 ml vessel toppled into the tank

I have not used All for Reef but can see it replenishes trace and some major elements. If you feel you grossly overdosed the easiest solution is a 100% water change.

+1 on water change. You very well may be able to salvage everything and move forward. No need to assume a total loss just yet, here’s to hoping and trying!! ;)

I'll agree with the rest that a major WC is in order. Hopefully you can take the time to temp/salinity/alkalinity match it up OK.

And if it makes you feel better, I will admit to so many absurd dosing errors that I have to take my shoes off to count them all.

did 15 gallon WC - did not have any time to match it up, just hoping for the best.... I get my SW from the LFS - so it's consistent.....

There was about 2" of water on the bottom when I started to refill. I also drained the sump (since it's an AIO tank), I did the back as well as the display area.

Will see what it looks like tomorrow / next day.... lights are in nighttime mode right now.... fish were pretty freaked out as were the corals.

UGH

Good job on the quick response and good luck!

Hopefully overnight everyone will settle down from the two events. Don't be surprised in the am if they are still upset. Agree that you took the appropriate and timely action so just give them some time. Hang in.

GSP on top still closed, was out of water the most. GSP on bottom seems ok. Polyps seem Ok. No SPS, so no issue there.

Pulsing Xenia closed. Mushroom seems fine, all other corals seem ok.

Lights are out, so tomorrow will be another exam once lights get up to late am.

You'll be smiling tomorrow, they'll be fine. All for Reef is pretty mild, if anything you gave your tank a healthy shot of adrenaline. I tried AFR on a trial basis and it works great for nano & pico tanks but for anything 20 gals + it's just a booster. As I said, you'll be fine.

So - it contains : Including calcium, magnesium, strontium, and carbonate hardness elements, but also other less common elements like iodine, bromine, fluorine, selenium, molybdenum, & vanadium.. Have you checked your calcium - or alkalinity or magnesium - Agree that a water change will help - but just curious whether you measured the parameters you're concerned about - which is mainly alkalinity.

If its ok - I would worry less - but still agree with a large water change. Just curious whether you measured.?

I dose All For Reef. It takes time for it to turn into alkalinity, which will cause you the most problems. If you have already done the WC, you’re fine.

Will test tomorrow morning. Nothing I can do now except check in am and take next necessary steps that may be needed.
