The goal with dosing limewater to treat for dinos is to drive a deficiency of CO2 at high pH. That reduces the supply of CO2 to the dinos.

In such a scenario, more aeration will drive in CO2 from the air, so the pH will drop and the dinos will feast.

If the water was already at a very low pH with an excess of CO2 relative to the air, more aeration would raise the pH.

yes for sure its a valid thing to consider if the standard nonimpactful options didn't work, blackouts etc or UV

the dinox has a huge following online, and its corrected many dino tanks we weren't able to fix w peroxide.

I got my DinoX from BRS. It took 8 doses over 16 days and they are, GONE!!!. My battle of 1 1/2 years is over.

my tank is literally immune to invasive dinos, they are obligate hitchhikers. since im through adding frags/fish n things, they simply cannot get in. but if they ever did, that dino x would be my first action seen too many tanks lost to these opportunists.
