Disappointed in THE CORAL DUDES.

I'd like to start out I have a massive sps collection have bought from alot of dealers. Only 2 dealers I have come across I will not deal with again. The coral dudes being one. I'm in total shame of even having to post here. As I feel this is 100% unacceptable

I purchased 2 frags for total of 300 dollars. Per their website states one of the frags will be 1.5 inch 2nd was a new release that clearly states 1 inch frag.

So my wife gets a package from fedex wrapped in plastic. The driver we know well as he's here at least 2 times a mth with corals. He told her it was soaking wet when he got it from the main hub. Fed ex only guarantees it will be delivered to us by 4:30.

They dropped the corals off at 2:29 my wife text me tells me what happened. I told her to send me pics. At 2:48 I text the coral dudes tell them that the package is leaking water. I send them pics. The one frag that was to be 1.5 inch is half way dead. Not only Is it half way dead it's 2 1/2 nubs so i was able to cut half of it off and toss it and looks like the one 1/2 nub will live.

2nd frag looks great in the bag good pe everything I pull it out and start looking at it. Fresh cut. No heal time recessed base glue is thick with the coral just sitting on top. Frag is 3/8 of a inch and 1/4 glue.

The sizes wouldnt have bothered me as much as what it is expt for the fact when I contacted the coral dudes. No reply. I have sent them text messages. Phone calls and even pms. No reply but yet they have been on here and haven't replyed to any messages. To me customer service is worst than a doa Or cut short frag. To me this is totally uncalled for.

Since I have had no contact from the coral dudes I have opened a paypal dispute and contacted my cc company.
I have not asked for a full refund I asked for a partial refund the way I see it i got 1 inch of coral instead of 2.5 total inches.

Also we did rely right away via Facebook when you sent us pictures. We told you to remove the bad part and keep us updated and we would take care of you. I haven't heard from you since. Not sure what else you'd like us to do. We 100% said we would make it right even if it was sending another frag.

Again, I have not been on for a few days. I told you that having this app on my phone makes it look like I'm always on. I responded the second I saw the messages here. But we don't check this daily.

In our pms and on here over repeatedly asked what can we do/what would you like done to fix the situation and make you happy as we are always willing to make it right. Sometimes FedEx isn't the gentlest with boxes and things happen. We can't control that aspect but we can fix it

I have not lied once to you. Not sure where you think I'm lieing. I have zero reason to lie about being on a forum.

I responded when I got your message. If I had seen you messages and didn't want to respond then I would not have. But, I responded when I saw them.

I got confused with fb and text and I talk to 100 people a day. I made a mistake, not a lie. There's a big difference.


And we haven't sent any pictures today so I'm not sure what you mean?

When I leave work. IL post the images the pic you sent me the immages I sent you. The images that shows you were on here the images that show your email to me my phone calls to you. My contact to you was threw text messages and pms you sent me 1 email was 1 pick of the larger frag.

Again you made the sale via text message contact will be threw text message. Witch I have again sent you another one.

Ok. Here will sum up the lies that the coral dudes put out there..

1. no contact was ever made till today..
2.they have been online several times screen shots to prove it. But for some reason today they changed their profile so no one can longer see what they are looking at... the pics will show the times that I took the snap shots to prove they were on here.
3. There was no contest the the broken bag was the coral dudes fualt... corals would have arrived alive.
4 no pictures of the frags were sent. You sent pics of a larger frag that was 250. If that's the case that you sent wysiwyg pictures then the frag I received is not the same frag in the pictures.
5.only time a refund was offered by you was on here while I was typing other messages.
6. You wanted to save face. Show me one single reply you have sent to me since I paid you... only one that was sent was today at 7 am. And it read we sent you wysiwyg pictures.

The point Is I bought paid for something. Came in damaged simple fix. Issue a refund or send another frag. That you posted here but that was how many days after phone calls text messages and a open paypal dispute was opened.

I am posting pics there is no conversation so should be with in the the rules. As these are screen shots edited with no names numbers or replys. Only my messages. And belive screen shooting showing someone online is also allowed since it's not a conversation. So mods if there is anything that's not allowed pm me IL pull it down

Yes You where sent wysiwyg pictures of the Coral is exaclty the one you received. You have been refunded and have the corals.


I have an app on my phone that showed I was always online. I have no reason to lie about being on a forum. Ive clearly stated in almost all our threads I'm not on here daily best way to get us is email or facebook. I understand you don't have Facebook but emails come to my phone so best way.

The bags breaking is not always the shippers fault. Things happen during transit. I can't control that. You have been refunded and I apologize for your inconvenience you have had. But, you have not been lied to. No reason to resort to name calling. Especially when I did what ever I could to make it right

If so does that mean I get a 100% refund...cause the one you sent me pics of are not the same or close to the same coral...

#3 clearly states the broken bag was not your fault.

The issue is you lieing. There was never any contact from you if there was please post a pic of here.. Or even pm me a pic of it. I'm willing to put my life on the line saying you never responded till TODAY AT 7AM... lies I don't belive a word that comes out of your mouth or what you type. And you are 100% correct you refunded 175 of the 300 for the 1 inch of frag I got out of 2.5 inches

If there would have been contact from you from day one. This would not have been a issue. Issue is lies.. and you continue to lie. Called out. Pics prove.

Still waiting for you to show me any type of proff that you sent wysiwyg pics. And a reply from the same day or even next day....
