Great tip on the needle trick. I will definitely use that. I have about 20 gallons of fresh ro ready just in case I need to go down.

Yep, that's how it's been for every order I've gotten recently. I actually do think it's supposed to be easier on the fish to ship in lower salinity, but it makes our job kind of tricky and god forbid those who don't QT [emoji15]

So what do I do now. I know hypo and copper is a no no. I was planning on starting some copper tomorrow and going up over 2 to 3 days. I think it will take me more than 2 days to bring the levels up. At what salinity can i start copper?
Given that anthias can be fussy eaters, I would use the next few days to slowly bring up the salinity and get them eating well before starting copper.

I got a closer look at the one in hiding this morning and I noticed a red sore by the tail. It looked like a bacterial infection. I was going to dose some antibiotics this evening but it's too late. I lost the little guy.

I lost another one today. I did not notice any signs of anything wrong. I think I'm going to speed up the addition of coppersafe. I added the first dose yesterday and will add the second tonight. I have been topping up with saltwater so I will measure the sg today too to see what I'm up to.

Are you feeding frequently in small amounts? I have the best luck with anthias like these when I feed them small amounts as many times a day as I can.

They are taking flake and mysis. I have been giving them a tiny pinch everytime I walk by the tank. Today they probably have had 6 or 7 tiny feeding. Basically whatever they eat in 1 to 2 minutes. Then I usually night cap them with frozen mysis with selcon added.

The first one that died did have a red sore by the tail. I'm wondering if it passed something to the rest.
It could be a bacterial infection, or maybe uronema.
