Great tank! The hammer actually looks like a "Fr-ammer", if that's a term at all, or frogspawn-hammer? Either way, love the color on it!
I also usually do not like black sand asthetically, but your tank looks great with it. Last FTS was a great pic. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah the "hammer" has me puzzled I moved it a little so now it gets a little more polyp extension.

Nice indeed but as you know they "grow" .... so a move to a larger tank is IMO a real good idea !

Yes I know, he will only be in this tank for a few months. When we get to fort bliss I'm putting everything that is in here, except my watchman, in my 36 gallon. I plan on making this tank a macro planted/nps tank with my goby and a pistol shrimp.

And even then I may put him in my predator tank if I ever get it up and running which will at least be 55 gallons.
I guess you'll have to decide whatever is best and what works for you but in a 55 .. nice !

Picked up a blue bottle brush acro yesterday. It is a little more faded than the picture the guy showed me but it has good polyp extension so I am confident that I can get the color to come back.
My green slimer is doing much better now that I put it back in this tank, color and pe is amazing and is showing new growth at its base!

Thanks, kinda upset about my chalice though. It was fine when I bought it but I guess on the ride home it got jostled around and a little piece got chipped off. (The white part that looks bleached. It should grow back right?

Update time. I move in a week so I consolidated everything I have to 2 tanks for now.
