Congratulation. It's a dream tank.
Would you please share with us how you made the denitrator and tips on your sump
Thank you

A quick update on my tank...

1) Chiller went south :(. Now on evaporation cooling
2) Removed that dang chiller, installed my 2 compartment sump and top off using south china sea water. Thousands of pods popped up a few days after sump installation but now gone being eaten by mandy and eight line wrasse.
3) Witnessed a phyto bloom a few days ago. Power out for few hours before dawn (typhoon hitting the Philipines and my state has been pouring with non stop rain for more than a week now), blue light only when on genset at night. Water is greenish :)
4) Forest fire digi STN a bit when chiller kaput, temperature went up 2 degree C.
5) A bunch of open brain gone case. Tank fully filled with sticks, these goner were under the shades and slowly perished. No more corals for me, unless I saw a red or blue sticks somewhere :D

Pictures....

They will. You have your magic.
You said in oct you installed your 2 compartment sump. Could you post a picture detailing your entire new set up?

It was my old sump. I bought another smaller sump so that I can fit in a chiller in the cabinet. Chiller went south, reinstated the old sump so that I can have more surface area for evap cooling.

The first compartment is an overflow section. My bacteria driven reactors and cryptic zones (weeks old now) sits in it. The return section contains some live oysters, a bag of activated carbon and my return pump.

I put a small powerhead in the return section, stirring the all the goodness in it to feed the whole tank every hour and super calm for an hour so that the oysters can have a rest.

So far this setup is doing good.

Very impressed with your tank and your setup!

What kind of oysters is it?

Thank you. I am not sure about the oyster. We can buy those at wet market. It's a wild caught by local fisherman, along the coastline possibly growing on mangroves roots :)

Such a beautiful tank.

How to you keep that NPS happy? Are you adding anything to maintain the Oysters food wise?
