dnov99's 260 Gal eye candy thread...

Billy, from my experience with most chalices once they get larger (bigger than 1") the growth rate goes up almost exponentially. More surface area, more eyes to feed=greater growth. With my BM now at this stage I can almost notice it growing weekly. The key is letting them grow and not cutting them, which most people dont do. LOL!!

Unfortunately, if I didn't cut, I wouldn't be able to get money for groceries and saltwater supplies. This hobby isn't for poor folk like me . But to tell you the truth, even if I was living in out of a box, I think I'd have to own a reef tank. That's how much I love this hobby :) You've got some beautiful colonies Darren! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!

You dont see this one around much, but its pretty sweet. Cornbreds Rainbow Bowerbanki. Red base with green, yellow, orange and purple streaks.

Havent updated in a while, so I figured I would put up a sweet update. This chalice has been turning into an incredible piece, I have had it for almost a year and have finally found the sweet spot for it. Here is a tease to get it started.
