I've been trying to research this and can't find much info. I'm sure there's some death involved, but what percentage of pods survive a return pump and make it back to the display tank from a sump, HoB refugium, etc?

There is an additional point to consider: baby copepods. Theses are microscopic and would likely be less effected by the shear forces encountered inside of a pump,I've been trying to research this and can't find much info. Good point. And obviously they do survive the transfer as there are people who keep a refugium in their sump or whatnot and end up with them in the display. Just a thought I had now that I'm considering an external HoB refugium instead of the one currently in my AIOThere is an additional point to consider: baby copepods.
