Thanks for the input honestly throughout the day there’s a lot of movement and it’s perfect!

I don’t know much more I could add. A lot of fish aren’t reef safe! Also 30gal is just not enough for most fish haha

+ 1 to @ying yang and @vetteguy53081 .... you are maxed out. I think that desire for more and larger fish diversity is what drives a lot of us to upsize.... may be time to start planning the next build?

I will start by saying I have a 30gal tank and a 10gal sump/refugium. After some time I’ve accumulated some fish and I think I might be at my max. Wanted a masters opinion or something along that line haha. I have 2- 3inch fire fish gobys, 1- 2.5inch clown, 1- 1.5inch clown, 1- 3 inch Benny, 1- 2inch cardinal, and 1- 2inch shrimp. Along with around 4-6 hermit craps(quite a few) and 2 emerald craps for the clean up crew.

Welcome to R2R and the salty world. I think you have enough fish, considering they are going to grow. Urchins, I.e. tuxedo are good cleaners but they do tend to pick up things and carry then around. Snails are good cleaners too. Be careful of turbo snails as they can topple rocks and things. I’ve have various snails over the years. I like trochus snails as they seem to survive longer in my tank and can also turn themselves over if they fall and are upside down. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.
