I will post once I get some free time. I have a baby coming end of September so haven't had much time lol.

Just added a baby boy to the family last week so finding time is hard right now lol. Almost done the canopy will try and post some pics this week.

Had some free time today. Wife doesn't want the wall or ceiling drilled so I used 2x3s screws into the back of the stand and up over the tank. Used brackets to help support. Got the lights mounted up. Don't mind the wires they will be taken care of soon. Got the canopy frame built with some furring strips to make it light and gonna wrap it with thin plywood. About to paint the plywood.

Canopy attached to the frame. Gonna run trim down the top and bottom to match the doors. The frame is extremely light and just sits on top of the 2x3s running across the top of the tank. Easy to just take off if need be. Lights and cords are now hidden.

Little one is doing great. Keeps you busy that's for sure. Im ordering my clean up crew this week. Diatoms are in full bloom after I added the lights. Started my life reef skimmer with a mag12 yesterday. Pulling brown out already. Gonna order some fish this weekend and get the quarantine tank ready. Gonna give NY aquatics a try for the first time.

I have 8 of the dsuny WiFi led lights. Got them about 16 inches from the surface. Happy with them so far. Got a great deal last year black Friday sale.
