Do multiple 90 degree elbows obstruct flow to drain?

Hard plumbed from internal center overflow box to side of tank / sump. Let’s say 3 turns (90 degree elbows)?

How do you all hard plump your drains to dumps?

Yes it will lower the flow, I was always told to use 2x 45 degree to make 90 degree.
This will have less impact on the flow
 
I'm honestly not anticipating any issues with this setup. You plumb your tank however you see fit!
It's a lot of fun piecing everything together and the possibilities are limited only to your imagination.
 
Drains are subject to friction just like returns, though they are assisted rather than hindered by head pressures. If you were really pushing the limits of a drain, extra elbows might be the difference between success and failure, but in most cases I’d imagine they are benign. BTW, to the point about two 45s instead of a 90, any benefits have been debunked. I think BRS did a test.

Thank you. BRS video is about return lines. Not drain lines. I am curious how everyone else plumbs their drain lines??

 
True, but why would you think drains would be any different. Fluid dynamics is fluid dynamics.
I thought it would be different because the return had the power of the pump behind it. Drains only have gravity.

I am a total newb for sumps and plumbing. So I just ask basic questions to help understand more.
 
I have almost 40 inches of drop from the overflow to my sump I added elbows for extra aeration. it was probably not needed but that was my thought process.

When you say 40”. Do you mean from stop of stand pipe in overflow where water enters pvc, or bottom of bulkhead where the bottom of tank ends?

The top of my tank stands at 6 foot 8 inches. I got tired of bending over to view it.
 
from the top of my stand pipe to the outlet in my sump measures 50 inches in drop total travel is 96 inches.
