Do my clownfish look healthy?

Ok,

Got the mesh in today and knocked it out real quick.

I'm happy with it. Wasn't too hard either.

@Philipgonzales3 Your build looks great!!! Fish look healthy, happy, beautiful. Great photos and videos. Keep posting, you're keeping me motivated to see the potential of that SCA50. I can't wait to get mine set up as well.

Sounds like a plan. Thank you for the initial advice that got my foot in the door. Be sure to let me know when you get yours wet. I'll be on the lookout!

Hello! I was chiming in to say if this is going to be a reef after a couple months maybe get Rock Flower Anemones! I think they're under rated, they are also to more hardier species of nems.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. It likely will eventually have some type of corals and inverts eventually. I mostly just care for fish but I think that eventually may change. I will definitely be sticking to hardier species, whether fish or not so thanks for the tip!

@davocean

My anemone is dying. Also having what I think is aggression issues as of today.

May see if I can find something local to swap it out with. You know how when kids are little thier parents keep swapping out the goldfish (probably due to bad husbandry). Well I may do the same except replace the anomene once a month for my fish. Don't want them to be sad now.

Bummer, and the fact that it is breaking down makes me wonder what it could be releasing into water column.

Maybe it's time for a soft coral to take it's place, frogspawn or hammer often makes a good host alternative, and relatively easy to keep

Yes, please get that out of there. Clown fish often clean their host nem with their mouths. So I fear I know where some of that decorative paint ended up. In your fishes stomachs.[emoji53]

He bought 45# not sure if he used all of it.
I just ordered 80# of Reef Cleaners rock for my SCA 50 and my daughter's 20 gallon.
My plan is to use 50# to 60# on mine and the rest on hers.

@davocean

I am moving at the end of March. I did not plan to move or else I would have waited on the tank. I added some more fake anemones for now. As soon as I move I will get them replaced ASAP.
