Do you call out high prices?

Just dont buy it and move on with your life. If someone buys it then great, that means it was worth the price to someone. If not the owner will probably realize they were asking too much and lower the price anyway.

Its pretty much how anything is sold. If youre selling a car you normally list it high and see what people offer. Same thing.

A public offer no. A pm message yes. Someone was trying to sell me a little yellow tang for $200 not long ago. Yeah no way I'm paying $200 for a yellow tang is what I said
Completely agree .
once upon a time they were a $20 fish .
Their prices went insane when Hawaii closed

I’ll keep my yellow not knowing if I’ll ever get another

The only ones that would pay extremely insane prices are the new comers .

And the reason why research is important .
know what you need , what you want and what a fair price should be

First off, Facebook and the various groups are a wasteland. Met far more quality reefers here than there.

Secondly, the question is loaded to begin with… if you’re sitting there thinking this is BS how objective are you being? The coral market as a whole moves and fluctuates… especially when you start considering the valuation of very specific strains of coral. In this case if we’re talking about high prices on common coral it’s generally best to just move on. Why waste your time trying to convince someone of your perspective when you’re not going to do business with them anyway?
