Do you dip your CUC?

A snails operculum is not 100% sealed in most cases. Water can get past, and most dips that would kill invertebrate pests will not discriminate between unwanted and wanted invertebrates. It depends on your dip of choice on how harmful it will be though, as some are more harmful to worms than snails or vice versa

They don't all have a door. For example cowrie shells don't, conch shells don't. Also not all CUC are snails.

... and no I never dip them. I would not want to stress and poison them. Pick healthy specimens and quarantine whilst obsrving them if in any doubt.
