Do you guys drip acclimate hermits and snails for CUC?

I always drip acclimate inverts. However the last time I added snails and hermits and dripped them, all but one of the nassarius snails died. I have bags from the LFS floating with nassarius, astrea and blue leg hermits right now and was wondering should drip them or do the cup method?

I always drip acclimated until I went to reefcleaners and they explained things well enough I changed my invert accl.process. check it out I think it'll make more sense

Depends on how long they've been bagged. If they were shipped, I temp acclimate and drop in. The salinity difference is easier for them to handle than the ammonia toxicity caused by pH increasing from air/tank water.

Thats what i read from tank cleaners. Funny reefs4 less says acclimate 2 hours! I just lost 6 snail from my lfs and acclimated about 20 minutes they were fine for days then died. Not sure if it was because its a new tank or because I only have rubble everywhere in my frag tank. i dont have a sumps for live rock.

Now I am wondering if I should chop up my rubble to finer pieces. I have a lot of 2 inch bacteria balls too so they may just crush up into sand and I dodnt want that to happen because to hard to vacuum tank as it is!

I think I made a big mistake on my frag tank build! The snails are proabbaly not able to right them selves and climb over the big rocks. I had Trochus and cate eye I believe they were called!
