Do You Live Up To Your Screen Name ?

Seen all the car talk so I had to chime in! 1973 Travelall 1110 sitting in the backyard, planning to build this thing and drive it until I croak

My son wants a scout. I want a travelall I saw one with a complete interior and ls conversion and just loved it.

:)

I have been practicing qt and medicine on fish for last 15+ years and locally I sell pre quarantined and medicated fish so yah I have been living upto my screen name. :)

I've been in the hobby since the day I was born (Dad had an Oscar tank in the nursery). That was 5 decades ago and I have no problem I admit to being an addict.

I love my fish. I have a 400g SPS Display tank, that's part of an 1100g outdoor SPS system (build thread in the Monster Tank Forum) and I also have a 90g planted tank.

My yard has an accumulation of tanks that I collected always dreaming of having more and more tanks throughout the house (which wife approves of). From 15g to 780g.

For me I have no problem finding more and more fish that I would like to take up residence under my roof.

And it has always just baffled me when I see people posting threads called "Help Me Stock My Tank" "Or What Fish Should I Get". Whether a nano or a 500g custom install - and you don't know what fish you want??

Here is the current stock list of my 400g Display tank. This is only what's in the 400g display and does not include the fish in the other 700g's of the system.

If you have questions about any of my fish, feel free to ask. This isn't a new collection. It's just kind of reached its peak.... What's left you might ask?

Well, there is always plenty of room for more small blennies and gobies. And I would like to get 1 or more Interruptus. And when available I will try once again to make Colini's part of my collection.

You can always try to double check my list by watching the tank on the webcam.

I live at nearly 6,000 feet above sea level. I call myself a high altitude hill Billy. So my aquarium is an AltitudeAquarium.
My aquascape goes nearly to the top of my water column. Ha ha

My Username is one of Maynard Ferguson's aliases that he used to circumvent his contract with Paramount Pictures to play jazz clubs in the 1950's. I saw him in concert at least 7 times. If you don't know who Ferguson is you are living a desolate and nihilistic existence and I will pray for you.

Why the avatar? I love me some coral beauties! ;Happy

I had the pleasure of seeing Maynard several times. Also got to sit in with he and his band, once. Great to see some appreciation for him, in an unexpected place!

My name comes from my project cars. I have a 408 stroker I’m puting into a 1969 Dart that is my first car. Dustin

There's a pretty decent Scout following here in AZ, I almost picked up a 58 Travelall but the price went from 1,000 to 2,000 to 5,000 guy still has it I'll probably go offer him to haul it away for free when the 73 is done

My favorite scent and flavor in the entire world is lemon -- especially the lemon blossoms on my lemon tree. They smell like sweet lemonade. This time of year, I step out my door and get a whiff of lemon blossoms from my tree in front -- just lovely. I took this photo about ten minutes ago. Salty? Well, I love saltwater aquariums and salt goes will with lemon and tequila. ;) So yeah...it describes me.

Yes since I pastor a church! LOL!

I kind of do. I have a few bounce mushrooms, but not an entire tank full.

Nice what engine does it have. I’ve got a few mopars myself. 65,69 Dart and a 67 Belvedere.

Maybe, at present I have 6 lionfish, I've rescued many through the years. I got my 1st volitan over 30 years ago to take dead food from a string when lions were being fed live fish only. The lfs' thought I was making it up. I currently have 3 usually difficult to keep lions, 2 fu manchus, one over 7 years and a blackfoot. I help out local hobbyist and a couple of the lfs call me lion king.

I had a 68, the fastbacks are my favorites; among other Mopars, a 64 valiant and a 65 dart, I currently have a 2010 Challenger and am waiting for the 2020 Barracuda.

It has a 383 4 speed also have a 69’ Super Bee
with 4 speed and 440

Interesting thread.... I have been in the hobby way too long... Imagine all the money I would have if I had chosen something else...

I used to smoke Cigars...and Dos Equis beer is ok! I am now a fan of Guinness and Bourbon. I guess tastes change...

Oh yeah... I am not that interesting so say my teenaged daughters and ex-wife.... What do they know?
