Do you Time Change your tanks lighting cycle to match the Current Time?

  • Yes - I adjust. If light out at 11pm during Daylight Savings then lights out at 11pm Std Time

I’m not smart enough to use my Apex, and I am too lazy to plug in the lights to a timer, so I have been turning them on/off manually

My husband set mine up for me. I am not smart enough to set up mine either. Though I hear you can set up an appointment with Apex and have them do it.

I change mine whenever I need to in 15 minute increments. My schedule changes. And I enjoy watching the inhabitants in my tanks.
 
Yup, apex made the change. Unfortunately reeflink (that surprised me) and Kessil (didn’t surprise me) did not.
 
I usually change it unless I’m concerned it may effect spawning with any of the fish I’m working with at the time.
 
This is my routine before and after turning my reef lights on and off MANUALLY each day:
