Good, keep us posted with your results. I've got a couple of big leathers that might be a problem. Did you find some Fluke Tabs? On the other post it indicated they were hard to find. I Googled them and they came up though.

Here's an update.

Last Saturday, I could no longer stand watching the bases of my acros covered by the blue xenia and gradually losing the shaded portion. So I trimmed back a lot of xenia. Then I dipped a few large live rocks in a Fluke Tab solution and put them back in the 180.

Since then I have been monitoring the condition of remaining xenia in the tank. It still looked okay on Sunday, but on Monday it started to look funny. This morning they are looking rather tired and droopy.

I used my old Fluke Tab (no expiration date on the package), which must be at least 4 to 5 years old. I dissolved a tablet in a gallon of water and dipped my rocks. Then I dipped the rocks quickly in a bucket of salt warter for a quick rinse and put them back into the tank. It's really surprizing that the Fluke Tab is still viable and so strong.

I will monitor the droopy xenia a bit longer and suction them out if they start disintegrating. If some of them start to revive instead, I'd hit the tank with a tab to finish them.

I have just about annihilated all my xenia out of 180 except for just a few stragglers. I need to finish them off by adding some more Fluke Tabs.

I saved a few xenia in my 29 cube. I will be able to share them in a little white.
