So I noticed this evening that one of my onyx percs looks like it has kind of a wire color/film compared to the other. I took some pictures but he didn't really want to cooperate. Thanks in advance!

White stringy poop is a sign of internal parasites. You have a case of brook. You will want to qt all fish, what you will do is either a rally bath or a formalin bath. And put into a fresh qt tank. During the bath you will want to match temp and salinity as well as keep air going to it for 15 min prior and through the bath. Once the bath is complete you will put into qt and then put metroplex in the qt to keep other infections at bay and to help keep brook from forming again.

Here is a guide to QT link

Here is a good thread on treatment and IDing link

There are a number of stickies you will want to read within the fish disease and diagnosis thread: Brook, Velvet, internal parasites, and QT. Lots of great info.

I put both clownfish in the 10 gal with some rock out of my sump (for bacteria) and dosed Fritz Marcel quick cure. It is formalin and malachite green

How new is this clownfish? It does resemble Brook and I do see the white stringy poop which often means intestinal worms.

here is a link to how to treat Brook https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/brooklynella.247938/

Read that for additional help in how to administer meds. I would never put formalin in the QT itself. It should be done in a bath and the fish placed in a sterile QT for treatment with metroplex. Just an additional note on formalin: be careful wtih it since it's a carcinogen... it could be a bit dangerous to you and your fish if used improperly.

I have had both of the clown for 3 or 4 months

I agree it does look like brook and in one of the photos I also see stringy white poop: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/internal-parasites-intestinal-worms.267419/

Since you already have him in formalin, that should be addressing brook. What you'll want to do next is transfer him into a clean/sterile QT, dose metronidazole and also food soak it to treat the intestinal worms: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/metronidazole.298762/#post-3655831

By sterile do you mean new tank and freshly mixed saltwater?

Yes, and don't reuse anything (not even equipment) from the QT he is currently in.

Are you treating both clowns? All your fish will need to be treated, and you will have to go fallow in your DT (for 6 weeks) to completely get rid of brook.

Yes both clowns are being treated, I am currently setting up a 150 gallon that is go in to replace the 75g these fish are in so I guess I can put them all in at then put them in the new tank?

Also in the tank is a pair of bangii cardinals. The male is carrying eggs right now, will them going in the qt make his spit the eggs?

I'm assuming you are going to reuse rock/corals from the 75gal; if so you still need to go fallow for 6 weeks as tomonts (parasite eggs) will be encysted upon them. However, you could use the 75 gallon as a QT for the fish after all the rock/sand/corals/inverts are out.

That's an interesting question, as I do not know what affect metro has on fish eggs. However, I suspect going into QT will cause him to spit the eggs due to disruption of his natural environment, stress, diminished water quality, appetite suppression, etc. :(
