My wife loves to look at the tank but could care less what they are called or what goes into running it. If I start to explain, she gets this glazed look in her eyes and I can tell she is just amusing me and pretending like she is interested....lol

Lol thats pretty funny though, my gf always takes road trips with me to see people and she thinks its so weird that im going to there house and i have never physicly seen them to see there system or buy frags..

my wife likes to spend time looking at the fish tank, but doesnt like how much i spend. on christmas i spent 200 dlls on frags from aqua sd and i told her i spent 70dlls. i told her that the frags were 5dlls each.hahahaha. thats the good thing of having a wife that doesnt know about prices.

lol! same thing but I cant tell her $200 without her getting mad! so I told her $150 for my ultimate chalice pack I got from gadget which came in a small box with alot of chalices mymiami,crazyfox,tangerinedreams,jf4color,goku,rockinwm,tryreered and pink,del sol, and I cant even remember the rest! she thought I payed $10 a frag and told chris no paper trail!Lol
but for real though! she just found out how much its worth when I sold a few pieces on here, so now she ok with it until I tell her I want something new(

My wife did like the hobby when I had a 125 gallon, Now that I have a 300 gallon sps tank and a 65 gallon lps/frag tank she is less enthusiastic and wishes we never upgraded. However, the tank is built into the wall and isn't going anyplace soon. She says if we move out of this place I can only keep a small all in one system like a Red Sea Max 60 gallon Lps tank. She loves her fish and the corals but only when the tank is in top shape. If theres algae on the glass etc she dislikes it again. She also hates the time I have to spend on upkeep but she doesn't ever give me a hard time about it as she knows its my only vice and that it helps keep me sane. She even tells me once in a while that I can make a nice purchase for it if I like. Like the other previous post said, she tolerates it because she loves me, and thats one of the reasons I love her.

Lets put it this way.......
My wife has said if I was to ever get in an accident or die early she wouldn't hesitate to sell the tank as she has no interest in caring for it.
But she does like certain frags/fish and will put in her $.02 on what I should/shouldn't buy! LOL
