Door help needed

Any recommendations on a 36” opening in my stand?
Wife decided she doesn’t like seeing the sump. Oops.

thanks!

Ive seen people spray paint plywood and drill a hole on both ends and insert a screw and hang it on the screws for easy removal.
You can get creative and place Moulding to look like false doors on it for an even better finished look

I made my own stand and routered my own trim. On the doors I just used basic cabinet hinges and overhung my trim by 1/8" around the doors, notched out trim so hinges would recess. Trim covers all hinges and door seams so light does not leak out. I doubled the vertical trim on the left door so when I closed both it looks like regular trim. If I could change anything I would do soft closing hinges on the doors.

For now I just picked up a piece of sanded plywood, cut it down and threw some magnets on the back. I'll need to add another quote of something waterproof but I know the wife will be happy to not see the sump. She won't be thrilled to see all the controls for the tank but she also didn't want the cabinet I purchased on the wall.. so we will see how that ends up lol
