Dosing containers?

Mason drink jars with lids that have holes for straws. Could use them with larger jars if needed and are pretty besides... You can buy just the lids at walmart or osh

For my new build I plan to use these: http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=44510&catid=611

These are nice and affordable. I used them on my old tank, but won't have the room on the new one. :-(

yes. I was just wondering if there is a way to put the rigit airlint tubing in the fitting in the bottle. Im assuming the threaded part that sticks in the container has something that will hold the rigid airline tuning in?
Yes, it is a push in connector, like you would use on your RO/DI filter connections. Uses same tubing as the RO/DI, or you can get straight acrylic tubing that is the same diameter (also from BRS).

push in connector that was the word I was looking for.
Thanks

I've been saving these pretzel containers, just got my eighth one today. Going to try and setup my jebao dp-4 and dp-4s this weekend.

I use the red sea additives, but same idea...

for the "big three" I got an acrylic dosing container, holds 1L of each and is easy to fill:

For the trace elements I initially intended to use the 100ml bottles they come in from red sea, but found two flaws in that plan... 1) it is impossible to see how much is left in an opaque container and 2) it was hard to use the last bit in a container, since I couldn't fit any extra in the next container. To resolve these issues, I bought some 200ml glass flasks and drilled 1/4" holes in the lids to pass a line through. being 200ml, I just dump another 100ml bottle in when they get below 50% full.

I built a small rack to hold them from a 2x4 with slots that they fit into snugly.

I’m using these glass ones from oxo. The big container hold 2.3L the lid is plastic so I’m going to drill a hole to fit a push connect bulkhead. It’s not the cheapest but not the most expensive and it holds a good amount of liquid with a small foot print
