For those that use them, which brand do you use? Also, which brand have you used and wouldn't give them the time of day ever again :)

Thanks!

I'm using BRS 1.1 pumps....love them.

I have used both BRS dosing pumps and Bubble Magus my biggest gripe is the programming and the little issues that always seem to pop up with either one of those, as with anything in this hobby you're gonna have issues, what determines your success is whether you plan accordingly and mitigate the issues to resolve the problems.

Just my two cents... one is not always better then another and I'm sure someone will tell you that "you get what you pay for" and that's true, this might sound a little cliche but, if you plan on failure however unlikely than success is attainable.

Litermeter's are a fantastic choice, and probably worth the extra cost. I've been running mine for over 6 years now.

I use the Fauna Marin which Is actually made by GHL. They seem to do a good job.

Thanks guys, all of those are ones that I've been researching except litermeter. I might have to make it even harder on myself and throw that one in the mix also. I didn't know GHL made Fauna Marin, I know they make Profilux. How was the programming on it?

I use the BRS 1.1 ml per minute pumps for vinegar and liquid food dosing. I like them for those purposes. :)

Randy, I've got to believe that you're a two part user, possibly using some DIY recipes some guy came up with that use common chemicals. How do you dose these? I can't believe you do this manually.

Anyone try the DOS from Neptune Systems yet? I'm thinking of getting rid of my Bubble Magnus and switching over.

I definitely think that one is worth looking at, especially since they are using stepping motors. I have worked with thermal label printers that use stepping motors, and they are insanely accurate even after years of use (4 years of heavy use = 1-1.5 million linear feet of label media). I personally have never had to replace a stepping motor in a printer, 4+ years of production use and they are still going strong.

I would love to hear from someone that has the DOS system as to how well they think it works and how it compares to any other dosing pumps they have used.

The only problem with the DOS from Neptune Systems is it's huge, I was very surprised.
Stepping motors are around 3 times the size and weight of a regular motor. They are worth their weight and size, as they will outlast any plastic, rubber, or any other non-metal item that they are attached to.

I definitely would like to hear about the Neptune DOS. It's only for pre-order on most websites I look at. It's programmed using the new Apex fusion which I have not downloaded yet. Has anybody had any trouble downloading or using Apex fusion? The DOS does look big and hopefully since the motors are the stepper motors, it's quite :)

Easy to set. just pick how much per day and how many times you want it to spread the doe out! DONE!!
no math with the 1.1ml pumps

Mine been going strong for 3.5yrs!

It's OK if you have the room.

Litermeter 3 for the win! Dead accurate, lasts forever, and doses tiny amounts 150 times a day! No parameter swings ever.
