Ive used this product in the past but im starting the red sea program again and im actually dosing less then whats directed and my water has been very cloudy now for two days. Any input?

Bacterial bloom it will go way. Make sure your skimmer is running.

Ammonia

Have you tested for high ammonia levels. Similar things happened to my sister. Over treating with all sorts of products the tank and caused a massive ammonia spike. Killed three thousand dollars worth of fish and coals.

I'd say coral bloom then. Nothing to up the ammonia levels and no fish so has to be the coral. I'd give it another day, if it hasn't cleared up. Daily water changes (I hate saying that. Not a fan unless it's required). Are you going to put fish in the tank; or is it purely a coral tank?
Mark :)

No I will again but I had an ich problem in 40 breeder so leaving the tank with no fish for about a month and a half . Like I said before I figured it was an algae bloom but what I was trying to say was that ive use the product on more then one occasion and water never got cloudy. .

Are you treating the tank with bacteria? NoPox is designed to provide a beneficial additive for the bacteria.
Gutted about your problems. Had many myself. Just make sure when it's sorted, you learn whatever lesson it turns out to be.

NoPox does not treat nitrates, it provide all the relevant things that bacteria to function to its maximum. You need to add bacteria in conjunction to the NoPox. That's coming from a marine biologist who is my fish and coral guy.

You have basically just agreed with me, NoPox is a blend of carbons and derivatives that encourage bacterial growth. It does not treat nitrates unless there is already a healthy bacteria population. I mentioned in an early post, this has happened in my family before. Use bacteria in conjunction with the NoPox.

There is a healthy bacteria population I posted the web page because it clearly says it reduces nitrates and phosphates some what...

I do understand what you are saying though... for a new tank yes but my 90 is a new tank but everything from my old tank went in as well

It's all about the nitrate cycle, to long to go through but google it. It explains how bacteria breaks down nitrates and what it breaks it down into.

What type of bacteria do you add and where do you get it? I have been using Nopox for a little over a week and was not informed to use bacteria.

Is called bio-aid. I get from my local reef supply shop. It's a liquid that is designed to work in conjuction with nopox.
Add 5ml one a week.
