I have the following AF products:
ProBio S
Coral A
Coral B
Coral E
Coral V

All of them except ProBio S are supposed to be dosed every other night. For my tank volume it would be 2 drops every other night. Would there be harm in just dosing every night and cutting the drops in half? It would be much easier to remember a schedule. I would just be dosing 1 drop of everything each night.

I don't think you have the routine captured correctly. The ProBioS and Coral B & E are supposed to be dosed daily. The Coral A & V are dosed every other day. I have not deviated from the recommended dosing and have had excellent results. I would ask @Perry for advice.

I dose Coral A and V every other night. I started using it half the recommend dose and after a month now I dose Coral V as per recommendation but amino acid still half the recommended dose.

Personally I prefer the foods and supplements are dosed to the tank after lit hours, this is typically when the coral's feeder polyps expand or extend in quest for foods. That is the optimal time to bring them nutrition. As far as Pro Bio S, I prefer this as a morning prior to lights coming on routine, I do believe most prefer the AM dosing of it and NP Pro. I do not see where miggs76 is using NP Pro. NP Pro is the carbon source that feeds the bacteria you are trying to populate in the tank, so I would begin use as soon as you can. Please make sure the skimmer if performing properly, as it should increase and darken in production. Cheers :)

I also dose Pro Bio S and NP Pro everyday in the morning. Dose Coral B and E every night when the lights go out. Coral A and V every other night when the lights go out. Perry is very knowledgeable, when it comes to AF products, he is the one that has taught me everything I know. :-)

Ahhh....Thank you for the kind words :)

The key here is observance. I understand the schedule and how it is easier to just do all one a day, but you will need a morning and evening routine. Every morning routine simple, dose Pro Bio S and NP Pro to the sump, after the skimmer. At night, simply dose one night A and V together (Aminomix and Vitality), and the opposite night E and B(Energy and Build). Or, you could dedicate M-W-F to A and V, and T-TH-Sat to B and E. You could use Sunday as a day off. Some AF users dose everyday with all the supps, and report no ill effects. It is all a matter of what works best for you. Cheers!

Wow...lots of responses. Thanks a ton guys. I haven't done the NP pro. Is that a necessity? I thought that was more or less just to reduce nitrates initially? I have my nitrates down to about 2ppm. Should I start that?

Yes,
You can dose 1 drop, but it is the fuel to feed the bacteria you are adding, it is not to control nitrates, the combination of the two help to do that :) Cheers

Ok I ordered the NP pro on Amazon. It will come on Friday. So np pro and pro bio in the morning, then ABEV in the evenings with AV every other night and BE every night. What about feeding the coral? I'm 95% acros....I did reef roids and golden pearls in the past....continue? If so how often?

Yes you can continue with foods of choice, AF Energy is a food too. And yes, your plan sounds good to me, the key with the system is observance. PE is a great indicator of sps health, so pay close attention:) Cheers

Perry maybe you can help with lighting for the AF program...I have an 8 bulb ATI dimmable sunpower. Any advice for lighting schedule? My tank is a 60 gallon cube.

I use a sunpower too. I have 8 bulbs as well as 2 reefbrite led blue strips for actinic viewing. The led actinics come on at 7am to 8pm. My 2 bulbs on t5s start at 8am and run through 7pm. The main 6 bulb daylights go from 9am to 6pm. I adjusted my schedule to my hours of work and what makes sense for me in terms of AC efficiency in the home. I use 4x ati blue+, 2x coral+, and 2x aquablue special. The lighting scheme is a bit on the white side, but the growth is insane. I will soon replace to make the tank more blue and focus more on coloration. Cheers!

Ok this is great info. I don't think I'm giving enough light. I actually have 1 reefbrite too. I've measured par with the reefbrite but I'm only getting about 60....it's really just for looks. I'll slowly increase my photoperiod.

Nothing to report right now. I don't really see a difference. It's been about 10 days. When should I start noticing some results?

This depends on your bioload, as SPS use up fish waste in the water column. I don't supplement coral food as much, only due to running barebottom. Detritus is always in suspension, so my corals are always eating :) I use the dry Coral Powder food every few days, I use Vitality, Build, Energy, and Aminomix every other day, at 4 drops each in my 120 gallon sps reef. Cheers!

What are the benefits of dosing pro bios and NP pro in the morning?

Routine ;) I feel it is a way of starting the day with a boost, to me a cup of coffee :) I do not think it matters, some split doses FWIW, it is just about consistency, and this is easier for my daily schedule. Cheers
